April. A great time for some bright light and intense shadows in Venice. Here's a flashback to a few shots taken on the old trusty (and still missed) Canon Powershot S90 - one of the first compact cameras to offer RAW files and an (impressive at the time) 10 megapixel sensor! Taken early evening in April 2013, a slow shutter speed (1/15 sec) was used to create a sense of motion with the passers by. The first pic on the left was the original published shot, and is still a popular image, but here I've also included a couple of rarely seen alternatives, attempting to catch people in the light beam. I still think the first one is the best, but what do you think?
